EX7s Features

an overview of the EX7s

The EX7s is the newest and best bike Echelon has put to market. It’s the most sturdy and durable bike they’ve built, and it’s designed with performance and flexibility at the forefront.

It’s the best in performance, comfort, durability, and quality in mind – here are just a few of the features the EX-7s brings to the table:

  • 22″ HD Touchscreen
  • High Level Performance: Comp level cranks and bearings for commercial level performance.
  • Ultimate Power: Dual Power ports in front and back and a CAT6 port for optimum speed.
  • More Comfortable Seat: New gel comfort seat and coated metal water bottle holder.
  • Front facing speakers

Biggest Difference Between EX1 LE and EX3

If you’ve narrowed down your choices to the EX1 LE and EX3, there aren’t any major differences between the two bikes. The EX3 features a few upgrades, but by and large the two bikes are very similar when compared side-by-side.

The biggest upgrades the EX3 offers include an upgraded competition-style seat, upgraded resistance adjustment knob, newer motor, new triangular tubing, and the options to pick between three different color options for your bike.

If you’re just wanting to get a great ride, but aren’t overly fixated on the upgrades, then I’d say the EX1 is still a great choice. If you want a few of the upgrades I mentioned, and also want to choose from one of the three colors the EX3 offers, then it’s a great option as well.

I own an EX3, and it’s great bike, for what that’s worth.

Biggest Differences Between the EX3, EX5, EX5s, and EX7s

The differences between the EX3 and EX5 and/or EX5s are subtle, but may be important to the serious cyclist. The most notable differences, however, are the new competition Aero handlebar system that the EX5 models features, the EX5’s upgraded device mount, and the EX5s HD touchscreen.

If you’re looking for a built-in HD touchscreen, and don’t want to stream your workouts on a tablet, then the EX5s the model you will want to consider. If you’re fine using a table or device for your workouts, then you will want to pick between the regular EX5 and EX3.

The EX7s is the best of all things Echelon has to offer – it has an upgraded HD touchscreen, is built for performance, and has gel seat for the ultimate in comfort – if you’re looking for the best-of-the-best then the EX7s is the Echelon Bike you’ve been looking for.

Do All Echelon Bikes work for Streaming their Live and On Demand Workouts?

Yes! All Echelon bikes are compatible with their app, and work great with their live and on demand biking workouts. Not only that, but Echelon offers a variety of workouts that get you off the bike as well. You can use your tablets for streaming those workouts as well, or if you opt for the EX5s or EX7s, you can rotate the built-in HD touchscreen to stream the workout of your choice (options include things like yoga, strength training, etc.)

Do The Echelon Bikes Work without a Subscription?

Yes, if you really want to you can use your Echleon bike without a subscription to their live and on demand workouts. That said, if you’re considering that option, then what’s the point in buying an Echelon? You may want to consider a cheaper option.

If you want an Echelon, but don’t feel the need to have access to live and on demand studio workouts, then you’d probably want to consider the EX1.
