Global Humanitarian Award
The Global Humanitarian Award recognizes an individual, corporation, or organization that has been a distinguished leader in promoting solutions for
the most serious issues facing humanity and our environment, as outlined by the Millennium Report of the United Nations. The recipient is selected by
the Tech Museum.

Gordon Moore, Intel co-founder and technology industry luminary, is the recipient of the 2007 James C. Morgan Global
Humanitarian Award. Through the Gordon and Betty Moore Foundation, Gordon Moore has contributed over $1 billion and countless hours toward
the goal of improving the quality of life for future generations, and he has contributed millions more through his own personal philanthropic
efforts.
